Blog Break Alert

Just wanted to let my fellow bloggers know that I will be unable to blog for a few weeks. We had to take our computer in to the shop and they said that it will be a month before we can get it back. So, we will be on an extended computer hiatus! I already miss our computer so much. It's hard to believe how much you come to rely on this piece of machinery! Oh well, such is life. I'll try to update our blog whenever I get a chance from another computer. Until then, hope you all are having a great week!

How are your Powers of Observation?

Thought I'd post this quiz. It's a really neat quiz about things we see in everyday life. Don't forget to post your score results after taking this. Mine was 14 out of 25 and Jason's was 15 out of 25. Happy quiz taking!

Put on your Easter Bonnet!

These were just a few pictures of our photo shoot at home this morning. Miss Kate wasn't too sure about her hat, but wear it she did! She is starting to do much better at posing for pictures for which I am so very thankful! We have had a really Wonderful Easter and trust that you all have as well!

Happy Easter!

Rise Again

Go ahead drive the nails in my hands,
Laugh at me where you stand,
Go ahead and say it isn't me,
The day will come when you will see.

‘Cause I’ll rise again,
There’s no power on earth can tie me down,
Yes I’ll rise again,
Death can’t keep me in the ground.

Go ahead and mock my name,
My love for you is still the same,
Go ahead and bury me,
But very soon I will be free.

‘Cause I’ll rise again,
There’s no power on earth can tie me down,
Yes I’ll rise again,
Death can’t keep me in the ground.

Go ahead and say I’m dead and gone,
But you will see that you were wrong,
Go ahead and try to hide the song,
But all will see that I’m the one.

‘Cause I’ll come again,
There’s no power on earth can keep me back,
Yes I’ll come again,
Come to take my people back.

Spring has Sprung?

I'm so excited, I saw my very first robin of the year today! Could it actually be possible that spring might just be around the corner? It will officially be here in 2 more days! I'm so anxious to be able to go outside without a coat and also to be able to open our windows for a change. Spring is just a refreshing and rejuvenating time of the year! Well, Happy Spring to you all just a couple days early!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Always remember to forget
The things that made you sad.
But never forget to remember
The things that made you glad.

Always remember to forget
The friends that proved untrue.
But never forget to remember
Those that have stuck by you.

Always remember to forget
The troubles that passed away.
But never forget to remember
The blessings that come each day.

May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face.
And rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the hollow of His hand

It's Gonna Be A Bright Sun Shiny Day!

It's a beautiful day outside - the sun is shining! After having so many dreary days, it is extremely refreshing to look outside and see the sun. It seems to give one a totally different outlook on life. Maybe spring is just around the corner!! Thank you Lord for letting us see the sun shine and hear the birds sing!

Here are a couple quotes I found about Happiness.

Happiness cannot come from without. It must come from within. It is not what we see and touch or that which others do for us which makes us happy; it is that which we think and feel and do, first for the other fellow and then for ourselves.
Helen Keller
The greatest part of our happiness depends on our dispositions, not our circumstances.
Martha Washington

Yes, Sir, that's our baby!

Finally, here are the pictures from years 2 to 3. Looking back, I can hardly believe how much our little girl has grown and changed. It certainly does happen quickly. It is so very important to treasure every moment we have with our little ones! We love our little Miss Kate and we are an extremely blessed mommy and daddy to have had such a sweet little girl entrusted to our care!

That's Our Girl!

" You talking to me Mom?"

Reading a Christmas Story to Robin Hood.

"The End!"

As you can probably tell, Katie loves her "Hood!" She is so much fun to listen to when she is watching Robin Hood. She pretty much mimics everyone and the things they do the whole way through!

More Flashbacks

It's so hard to choose pictures, because naturally I think they are all cute. So, here are a few pictures from years 1-2. Katie has added lots of excitement and laughter to our lives. She's our burst of sunshine!

Chocolate is just the greatest!

But Daddy, I want to help you?
