Busy, Busy, Busy

It has been a busy couple of weeks here at our house. Here is a list of things we did just last week.
  1. Left for IHC on Tuesday Morning
  2. Went to the Air Force Museum Wednesday morning and afternoon and then back to IHC for the rest of the day.
  3. IHC again and then we drove to Cincinnati after the evening service.
  4. Went to the Newport Aquarium and the Newport Levee, had our Anniversary dinner at Pappadeaux and then went to GBS for the evening service on VIP day.
  5. Went to the Creation Museum in the morning/afternoon and then went to the Collingsworth concert at Music Hall in the evening.
  6. Attended morning service at Burlington Bible Methodist Church in Kentucky, ate lunch at GBS, and stopped and visited with family halfway through the 4 hour trip home to Adrian!

Since we've been back, it has been an equally busy week here. After Jason has gotten home from work we have been doing quite a bit of yard work/landscaping project. We have had beautiful weather and I've enjoyed being able to be outside once again. Katie has had so much fun visiting the playground where Jason works. When she got up this morning, she was ready to go visit Daddy and play! Well, enough for now! I'll probably put more posts up later of the different activities we did while away last week. Hope you all have had a great week so far!

Need I say "Ornery?"
Making sugar packets into railroad tracks @ Dewey's Pizza!

Work, work and more work

And it's only just begun ;o)

Fun at the playground!

Can we go back tomorrow Mommy?

We are playing TAG again!

Let's see...rules first. Each player answers the questions about themselves. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 people and posts their names.

What I was doing 10 years ago: 10 years is a long time ago! ;o) I was either living in West Virginia or Florida. If it was West Virginia, I was probably longing to be anywhere but there (no offense to anyone who loves or lives there) and if it was Florida, just enjoying life!

Five things on my to-do list today:

  1. Devotions
  2. Get Katie ready to go to the playground!
  3. Fix and take Jason his lunch
  4. Laundry
  5. Get things ready for the cottage prayer meeting we are hosting tonight!

Snacks that I enjoy: Boy oh boy, I like chocolate, oreos, cheez-it's, iced cappuccino's and I think I'll stop there!

Things I would do if I were a billionaire: Like most everyone else, make sure our bills were paid, give more to the church and to missions, help my family and friends, make sure my child or children were able to go to college, I'd also take my honey on a cruise to Alaska, and go on vacation to Orlando and to Gatlinburg!

Three of my bad habits:
  1. I tend to be impatient
  2. I over analyze things
  3. I worry way, way too much!
Five Places I have Lived:
  1. Pennsylvania
  2. Sunrise, Florida
  3. Valrico, Florida
  4. Lakeland, Florida
  5. West Virginia
  6. Lakeland, Florida
  7. Cincinnati, Ohio
  8. Lakeland, Florida
  9. Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania
  10. Adrian, Michigan
  11. Sanford, Florida
  12. Adrian, Michigan

I know, I know that was quite a few more than five, but I thought I'd just put it on for boredom's sake!

Five jobs that I have had:
Now this is really pushing it.
  1. Data Entry for several place in Florida (Cool job)
  2. Secretary for Admissions and Student Recruiter at GBS (Another very neat job)
  3. Secretary for True Value in Mifflinburg, PA (So, so boring)
  4. Office Manager for CPR Auto Center in Mifflinburg, PA (Loved working here)
  5. Wife, Homemaker and Mother! (My very favorite and the most diverse of all my jobs!)
Five people I want to know more about
  1. Esther Hilling
  2. Jaime Schultz
  3. Kathie Manns
  4. Marlinda Holten
  5. Tanjala Maley

Katie Moments!

I thought I'd post a few pictures of Katie with a couple of her favorite toys. Jason's aunt and her children bought Katie a Barbie trike for her birthday and she absolutely loves it. Just last week she finally was able to get the hang of pedaling it around. Another one of her fascinations is Thomas the Train and all of his friends. She is always ready to go for a ride to find some 'tains.' Anytime we cross a railroad track, we hear all about Thomas. If she doesn't spot a train on the tracks, in Katie's mind Thomas is either sleeping, working or at church! Katie is certainly a ray of sunshine in our lives and we wouldn't trade her for anything!

Riding in style!

Excited about her Thomas Birthday present!

Katie with her friend "Percy!"

Happy Anniversary Babe!

We were away for the weekend, so I wasn't able to post this on Friday. Happy Anniversary Jace! It has been a wonderful and exciting 5 years and I love you so much! Looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.

Online at last!

This one is my favorite!

I can S-M-I-L-E!!

Finally starting to get into posing.

Our little mischief maker!

Not happy about picture taking!

Well, we finally have our computer back. It's almost as good as new, just a couple quirks here and there. We're just happy to have it again. I find myself having to get back into the swing of things with blogging! I know that probably seems funny, but after not having it for a week, it's hard to get started again. I thought I'd start with some pictures we took of Miss Katie on Sunday morning before leaving for church. Needless to say, she wasn't particularly happy about it, but by the end of the photo shoot, she was all smiles. We kept telling her that if she wanted to go to church she had to smile and that's exactly what she did. She loves to go to church and she was in her glory that morning, because her friend Melanie sat with her! Well, enough rambling for now. Trust you have all had a great couple of weeks!
